Tel Charon sur sa barque, navetteur immortel entre le monde des vivants et celui des esprits, STYX se veut être le lien entre l’audience actuelle et celle de demain. 
Le mot de Debussy, assistant à la première du Sacre du Printemps en 1913, a fait fortune : « De la musique de sauvage avec tout le confort moderne. » Confrontant traditions, attentes et représentations d’une part et un point de vue propre à chacun de l’autre, la musique contemporaine est soumise à rude épreuve lors de sa perception par le public.
